Physiotherapy, bracing, and orthotics services are not covered by OHIP or ODSP. Direct billing may be available for private health insurance, WSIB, or automobile insurance when applicable.
For orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine consultations, a referral from a primary care physician, walk-in clinic physician, or nurse practitioner is required. Referrals should be sent directly to the appropriate surgeon's or sports medicine physician's office.
Please note: For orthopaedic surgery inquiries, please contact the office of your orthopaedic surgeon directly. (Tel: 613-746-6745, Fax: 613-746-6008) Referrals to orthopaedic surgeons must come from your primary care physician or nurse practitioner.
