Orthopaedic Surgery at CORPEO

What Is Orthopaedic Surgery?

Orthopaedic surgery focuses on the prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. This includes concerns involving the bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and related structures.

Orthopaedic surgeons may use both surgical and non-surgical approaches to help manage injuries, degenerative conditions, joint concerns, sports-related injuries, trauma, and other musculoskeletal problems. Depending on the condition, care may involve assessment, imaging, injections, bracing, surgery, or rehabilitation.

At CORPEO, orthopaedic care works alongside physiotherapy and other musculoskeletal services to support patients before and after surgery, during injury recovery, and through long-term movement and function goals.

Care & Rehabilitation

Orthopaedic Care and Rehabilitation

For many patients, physiotherapy is an important part of orthopaedic care. It can help improve strength, mobility, movement control, balance, and function before or after surgery.

Physiotherapy may also support patients who are managing an injury or condition without surgery. Your care plan may include education, activity guidance, strengthening, mobility work, bracing support when appropriate, and strategies to help you return to daily activities with more confidence.
